After Jörg Wutzl had to sit out the entire 2019 season due to injury, he has now decided to end his career. “My knee injury, which I sustained in 2018 and still played for almost half a season, did not go away completely until preparation for 2019. My last goal was to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics. But since I had to take a break for the entire 2019 season due to my injury, there was actually no realistic chance of qualifying for the games.
